How to Make Perfectly Creamy Buffalo Chicken Dip
There are a few tips and tricks you should follow to make sure your buffalo dip comes out perfect, with gooey cheese!
First, make sure you bring the cream cheese to room temperature so it’s easier to mix.
Shred your chicken before adding it to the dip to get a fine shred. Use hand blender to help.
If you like creamier dips or notice the chicken is slightly dry, you can add a tablespoon or two of sour cream.
Mix everything together well before placing it in the oven, but save some of the shredded cheese to sprinkle on top before it goes in the oven. This will give a nice layer of cheesy goodness.
Optional: Top off with a sprinkle of blue cheese crumbles as a garnish!

Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 package 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Frank’s® RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp blue cheese crumbles optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Finely shred chicken and place into a mixing bowl
- Add the cream cheese, Frank’s Red Hot, ranch dressing, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Mix well until thoroughly combined and scoop into a greased baking dish.
- Top the mixture with the rest of the shredded cheese
- Place in the oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly
