About Me

Here I am, sharing everything I can to offer support and guidance into how to create a beautiful at-home garden and incorporate fresh produce into your everyday cooking!

I have a passion for growing clean, organic vegetables and herbs to use in my everyday cooking. I love providing my family with fresh, homegrown fruits and vegetables and cooking with the freshest ingredients, right off the plant!

About my Garden

After purchasing a new home with a big backyard (well, big for our neighborhood) – I knew exactly what I needed to do. And that was to create a magnificent garden in my own backyard full of vegetables, herbs, fruit and trees!

I never had that much space to build before so I jumped right in with wild excitement.

Have you ever looked at a situation and realize the huge potential right in front of you? That was my. Garden shovel and seeds in hand, just ready to go!

I started to learn the ins and outs of gardening, mostly through trial and error. But over time, I went from a black thumb to a green one. Being in a forgiving zone hardiness 10b, I have to admit I do have it a lot easier than most with a whopping 270+ growing days to grow fruits, herbs and vegetables!

About my Kitchen

Providing nutritious, clean and organic produce is important to me as a mom. I like to know where my food comes from. I enjoy sharing the recipes I create, or re-create, with my home grown veggies and herbs!

My goal is to hopefully inspire you to grow your own food and create restaurant quality meals right in your own kitchen!

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard or complicated. You don’t need crazy or expensive ingredients to serve nutritious and delicious meals to your family.

Enjoy the recipes I’ve shared as they are easy to prepare, inexpensive and immensely flavorful!

I guess you can say I’m just a mom, standing in front of her two kids (some might call one of them my husband), begging them to eat a vegetable once in awhile.
